Mermaid Rejects Matthew Good
So what happened? Matthew Good befriended her via social media – in 2003 – when she was a fan of only 17. Years go by. Then in 2007-2009 when she is 22-24 she alleges he asked her for sex.
She declined.
Well, you can read her story, she has told it many times in many places, and it is out there for anyone to see. These are the screenshots she publicly shares on her Twitter of the events.
“Raina started her own company, Halifax Mermaids, in 2014 and now books regular performances at children’s birthday parties and in aquariums. Today, she runs the business with husband [named redacted], who also works as a simulation integration specialist.”

February 13, 2021 she posted this on her Instagram – publicly.
Stephanie felt groomed from the age of 17 (in 2003) when she developed an online friendship with Matthew Good. She was 22 in 2007, when he crossed a line by asking her for sex.
In the post above, she claims it was more than being hit on. Claims he was trying to “groom” her. Not going to get into the use of that word “groom” here but clearly she didn’t feel intimidated by MG until she alleges at the age of 22 she was propositioned for sex and declined – and allegedly threatened with legal action to silence her.
I know that tactic. Matthew Good tried it on me, he threatened to sue me and I threatened to countersue him – and he immediately backed off. I have the email correspondence to show that it occurred.
And even though Stephanie thinks any man with a sexual attraction to a woman dressed like Darryl Hannah from the 80′s Tom Hanks hit movie Splash – is a mervert – doesn’t mean Raina isn’t right about Matthew Good‘s perversions.
Seriously the comment section on that Fox News article is a hoot to read! Stephanie takes her job seriously, she tried to use her fame as a mermaid to get the word out about how Matthew Good pretended to be her friend for 5-7 years and then asked her for sex. She rejected him, according to her story.
I also see that Stephanie aka Raina has been trying to out Matthew Good for years, and it is did strike me as odd that Hayley never tripped across any of the accusations that are online about Matt’s behaviour.
The Siren Song
Raina often noted some disk of old emails she wishes she could find, and how damaging the experience was, so much so, here she is still mentally injured by it! Here is the story again in more detail. It should still be on the group site, because despite the accusations against me, I didn’t delete any posts like this one of Raina’s account of events.

I find it interesting Raina keeps referencing this disk of emails she saved, and here is Karen H saying she wished she saved her emails. Hypocritical, considering Karen later accused me of bragging and suggested it is weird for me to have a history of emails back to 2006. I didn’t secretly save back ups. I have had the same email since 2005. I log in my email and everything is just there in my fucking archived emails, as I don’t delete most emails, because I got NOTHING to hide.
I know Matthew’s patterns with women. Heck I know this story well. Every story sounds the same because that is how the man operated.
He had a modus operandi that was clearly successful for him in getting his female fans to sexually service him.
But honestly – as Raina notes, it wasn’t illegal, all these things he did with women were consensual – or he was outright rejected by women – like Raina.
The Siren Song Repeats
As I said, I think Raina was the loudest on social media like these posts on her Twitter which again show how vocal she was.

After the events of April 13th 2021 in the VOMG Facebook Group, Raina sorta defended me. Sorta. I hope she meant the women in the group didn’t understand how the Admin thing worked. Because I did.
This screenshot was provided to me by a friend that remained in the group after they falsely accused me of spying for Matt and kicked me out.
Raina was pregnant and had a baby in 2021, in her defence, maybe the hormones were inspiring her to be more aggressive in her social media. But looking through the history it seems she is just very combative.
I was told her social media accounts were being harassed, and it is a shame, that people can’t rationally discuss anything these days.
Please don’t harass any of these women.
Everyone is forced to take a side and not waver – or else. But life isn’t that cut and dry, that black or white. It is a billion shades in between. It is those billions of shades that make life worth living.
I don’t think Matthew Good is a rapist, but I also don’t think he is a decent person either, specially when you see how he was using women. Heck he used a lot of people. The bipolar highs and lows of his personality often conflict. One day he thinks he is superior then next not worth the stale piss an alley wall. His bipolar dysfunctions are not an excuse though. He does need to own his behaviour.
In any case, I hope Stephanie has healed now. I wish her and her husband, and their baby all the best. I hope she is truly over the trauma of meeting her hero.
