MeToo Accused: Marilyn Manson

February 1, 2021, Brian Hugh Warner, better known as Marilyn Manson – his band released three platinum albums, and he’s sold 50 million records worldwide – was accused by his ex-girlfriend, “Westworld” actor Evan Rachel Wood – in an Instagram post – “He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years.”

At the time of this posting in 2022:

Manson is 52 years old. Matthew Good is 50.

Wood is 34 years old. Hayley M is 33.

Wood posted her instagram statement February 1, 2021.

Haley posted her instagram statement February 3, 2021. (Two days after Wood.)

Aside from the Instagram posts, and the age gaps, there appears to be more validity to the Manson charges and accusations.

First and foremost, there are charges filed in court against Manson. Second, there are other women who came forward with similar claims and not anonymously.

Third, the DETAILS of the abuse, and the threats to silence them have been shared publicly.

Hayley gave a vague statement on Instagram, then deleted it later. She claimed she wasn’t ready to share her story about Matthew Good. Not one other woman came forward with any of their claims.

Evan Rachel Wood, on the other hand, has given a lot of painfully detailed statements about what she suffered through in her former relationship with Manson – over a decade ago. It is shocking information. Furthermore, Wood was only 18 when they met. And 19 when they officially began dating, eventually Manson proposed to her but they never married.

Another former girlfriend of Manson named Esmé Bianco came out with major details of his abuse. Three other women publicly came out with claims of abuse against him.

Again, with shocking details that make like Manson was a controlling degenerate that caused harm.

The Major Differences

Evan Rachel Wood was only 18 when she met the rock star Marilyn Manson.

Hayley was 29 when she met Matthew Good. Hayley was also married and had a child when she met the Canadian rockstar. Hayley had lived a lot of life, comparatively she should have been far more aware of the situation, as a grown woman. For Hayley to suggest she was groomed, is a stretch for me. Even if she was allegedly suffering postpartum depression.

That is the major difference, Hayley has never explained to us what, this alleged abuse that she suffered, actually was. She has stated it was not physical just mental, so what exactly did Matthew Good do to her? She stated the sex was consensual, so what exactly was the crime here that she felt the need to post that Instagram statement – two days after a similar one made by Evan Rachel Wood.

Is it any wonder some people thought it was a copy cat situation for attention.

The other women that came forward against Manson, they were public with their name, and public with the graphic painful details of what was allegedly done to them. The validity of the claims becomes more so when you have someone willing to stand there and reveal such private, and possibly embarrassing details of their lives. Of, course ultimately, those claims need to be proved in a court.

Not one women, not even Hayley herself, have come forward with any such devastating details against Matthew Good. And not one legal case is pending. Not one police investigation is happening.

Yet both artists were cancelled.

Massive Legal Differences

The most important difference – there are lawsuits.

Now, maybe it’s because Manson is worth a lot of money. You could argue that. He is certainly world known, and bigger name for sure comparatively. But frankly it is the horrid details of the lawsuits that matters here. What he is being accused of, isn’t just a blow job on a tour bus.

April 30, 2021 – Esmé Bianco sued Manson for sexual abuse.

May 18, 2021 – Ashley Walters, Manson’s former assistant, sued the artist over alleged sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to court documents. In May 2022 it was reported that Walters lawsuit was rejected by the court. “The plaintiff has pleaded too few facts and too late to keep this case in court.”

May 28, 2021 – A woman wishing to remain anonymous filed a lawsuit that alleged that Manson raped her, controlled her freedom of movement and food intake, and emotionally tortured her.

June 30, 2021 – Ashley Lindsay Smithline accused Manson of breaking her nose, whipping her, locking her inside a soundproof glass enclosure, controlling her sleep patterns and nutrition, and forcing her to use drugs.

On November 14, in a sweeping exposé featuring interviews with dozens of women previously involved with Manson, Rolling Stone reported that Manson had a small, soundproof glass enclosure in his West Hollywood apartment, which he allegedly called “the Bad Girls Room.”

Several women who dated the artist described the enclosure as a “solitary-confinement cell used to psychologically torture women.”

On November 19, Stephen D. Rothschild, a defense lawyer representing Manson, told the court that in the context of all of the filed and refiled lawsuits, his legal team “may decide that it’s best to have a global mediation.”

On November 30, Los Angeles special-victims-unit detectives seized items including “media storage devices” during a raid of Manson’s West Hollywood residence as part of a separate criminal investigation into domestic violence and sexual assault complaints against the rocker that allegedly occurred between 2009 and 2011

Insider: Timeline: Marilyn Manson

Needless to say, Manson will have his day in court.

March 2022:

Marilyn Manson Sues Evan Rachel Wood for Defamation, Distress, Impersonating FBI according to news reports. It looks like Evan Rachel Wood and her lesbian lover Illma Gore allegedly hatched a plan to ruin Manson’s life. The scenario may very well end up being in court. I wonder if it will be as shocking as the Johnny Depp case.

“For at least the last two years, Gore and Wood have secretly recruited, coordinated, and pressured prospective accusers to emerge simultaneously with allegations of rape and abuse against Warner,” the suit says, “and brazenly claim that it took 10 or more years to ‘realize’ their consensual relationships with Warner were supposedly abusive.”

The Rolling Stone

(September 2023: A lot has happened in a year, and the Manson case is crazy, with fake FBI letters to boot, you should go do some research on the whole things, it is bonkers.)

In stark comparison, zero news stories, zero physical abuse allegations, and no charges have been filed against Matthew Good as of this post in January 2022. (September 2023, still no charges, in fact everyone eventually dropped their accusations, and Hayley lost her clout.)
