Update June 15, 2024

This site Regretful Groupies was trying to focus more about the MeToo movement, and the roll that the internet has had in the way groupies, and women and men acted in the last decades.

Despite the rockstar allegations and the cancel culture that attempted to silence me, I tried to tell my story and how it interconnected.

BarbaraDoduk.com remains my main website.

I have never tried to promote this RG site, aside from my few Twitter links, and certainly have never pretended to be more than what I am – which is frankly a nobody.

“You Can’t Get Any Further Away Before You Start Coming Back.”

Life is a…

I wanted to also touch on sexual addiction – given that I have had a mild form of it. After 36+ years of therapy on and off – I know myself pretty darn well. I believe my sexual addictions certainly played a role in my selfish monster* actions. As did events in my childhood, which I was exploring.

I have never been diagnosed with any sort of mental disorder in those 36+ years, and my mother worked in Mental Health until she retired. Furthermore, I have never been a criminal, or accused of, or charged with any sort of criminal activity. I have family that are currently in the Police force and retired from the Police force. Originally in 1992 it was my intent to become a forensics detective. My father had a personal lawyer who is long retired, and I have friends in legal places. Everything that I have written here has been my true life events, or my opinion on public people and public facts, and I have provided back up of those events and facts.

I believe I have been fair in my opinions, on telling my life stories, and providing both sides of each story.

While I sort out book details – this site will not be updated.

I truly thank you for reading. If it weren’t for you – my book would not be possible.

Semi-Retirement

I am very privileged that I am quite frankly semi-retired at age 51. I usually decide to spend my free time doing other things that never make it to social media.

I have my own business now, and work the hours I set, and do what I want. I know that I am blessed I get to spend time doing family things. Dance recitals. Movie nights. Giant birthday bashes. My own endless hobbies. Dabbling in music again. Painting again. All of that creative stuff.

My personal research into my family history is my priority.

My parents are in their mid-70s and I don’t want to waste time missing out on their stories. I have been spending time digging through memories. These are the things that matter, with the people that matter. Enjoying a coffee, with family and friends, reminiscing, or spending time planning an amazing future vacation or three. These are my priorities.

So I am going to live and live well.

These website ones and zeros are, after all, pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Hug your loved ones. And…
